Installing wood slats for traditional Fabric Wall Upholstery

The first step in traditional wall upholstery is creating a solid foundation for attaching the fabric. In this video, I demonstrate how to install wood slats around the perimeter of the area being upholstered. 

The wood slats create a solid substrate that allows the fabric to be properly attached and stretched during installation. The padding will later be installed inside the wood framework, creating the soft, upholstered finish.
